Joo! Ya han empezao las clases

It was quite a quiet weekend really, with nothing happened that is worth writing about, apart from going to Tom's on Saturday night for Currrrrry.

Anyway, yesterday lessons started, my first one was 6-8 (yes 8 at night) it was called 'la ensenanza de la gramatica espanola', which is basically how to teach spanish grammar to people, it was really interesting and I think I will really enjoy the course. The teacher (Juan Felipe) is really nice and friendly however he speaks quite quietly so you have to listen really carefully and for people at the back I doubt they could hear well. I was so pleased at understanding 99% of what he said and was chuffed at how far I have come since I started learning Spanish, to understand a proper Spanish lesson in a top Spanish university made me feel really happy and made me realise that I really am Bilingual.
It's hard to describe how the lesson was different from home really, the lesson was from 6-8 and we arrived about 5.50 to find the Aula (classroom) and we were waiting till 6.15 and noone had come, however when all the Spaniards walked in at 6.10 we should have clicked..... lessons in Spain dont start on the hour, despite it putting this on the timetable, they start at 6.15! Another thing I was amazed at was, with it being a two hour lesson we had a 15 minute break at 7-7.15 which I was amazed at. Apart from that it was pretty similar to back home.
After the lessons tom and I met with Marta and Lorena to go to our facultys cafe/bar which is so cheap it is untrue, we all got beers and bocadillos de jamón (ham sandwich) which only came to like €4 which is like £2.70!
